The February 2026 Dining Around Event is scheduled for Thursday, February 26, 2026 at 4 PM. This event is hosted by Glen and Denise Thomson and will be held at Dupuis’ Restaurant, 256861 US 101, Port Angeles, WA, halfway between Port Angeles and Sequim.
Dupuis’ Restaurant was established in 1920 by Joe Dupuis as a tavern with beer, wine, and a dance floor. He pumped gas out front (which is the entrance today). He started serving food so he could sober up customers who had imbibed too much. During its 100+ year history, it has had a number of owners who loved to collect things that have remained with the restaurant, so take time to appreciate all the nostalgic and quirky things you see. Some notables have eaten at Dupuis’ such as Tommy Lee Jones, Huey Lewis, Barbra Streisand, James Brolin, and Princess Margaretha of Belgium.
The restaurant works with local farmers and fisherman whenever possible and features locally sourced ingredients on the menu. Daily Specials will be available in addition to their regular menu.

Parking is available in the parking lot next to the restaurant.
Reservations have been closed for this month’s Dining Around. If you would like to be added to a wait list, contact the Dining Around Chair at diningaround@olympicnewcomers.org.
Maximum number of reservations is 20. Dining Around events fill up fast, so make your reservation early. Last day to reserve is Monday, February 23, 2026, or when the maximum number of guests is reached.

What is a Dining Around event?
The Dining Around Host makes a reservation at a local restaurant where the members meet for a casual meal and socializing. Everyone orders off the menu and pays their share. This gathering is a great opportunity for connecting with others.
Not only is Dining Around fun and easy but it also helps to boost our local economy and takes all the work out of having fun. You get to dine out with old friends while making new ones.
