Laurel Lanes charges Newcomers’ members $2.25 per game during the Bowling Event. Most Newcomers bowl from two to four games according to their time and ability. Laurel Lanes accepts credit cards only for purchase of $5 or more.
Bowling shoes are required on the lanes. There is NO CHARGE for rental shoes for Newcomers. You need to bring socks and know your shoe size.
Bowling balls are available for use at NO CHARGE as well. Come early if you need to select a ball. There are many to choose from.
The Newcomers’ Bowling Event meets the second Tuesday of each month at 12:00 Noon. Beginner, average, or expert bowlers are all welcome. This is a great opportunity to laugh, get some exercise, and enjoy a fun-filled afternoon. Our group is growing, and we want more players to join in.

Bowling is open to all Newcomers regardless of their experience level. We are not competing. Bowling is just another friendly Newcomers’ activity. If you don’t know how to bowl, we’ll show you. Depending on the number of bowlers present, three or four members (preferably) will bowl on each lane. A random draw method will be used to select the members for each lane, so we get to know each other better.
Newcomers’ members, bring your own bowling balls and shoes or use the ones available for free at Laurel Lanes. Standard Ten Pin Bowling rules and scoring apply. Scoring is automatic.
