I am really excited about the Member Appreciation Meeting on April 3rd.  Not only is it a chance for a large number of us to socialize and get to know each other better, but it is a chance for everyone present to help plan the future activities of the Club.  We will be broadcasting the results of our brainstorming to the Club at large in April.

I have structured the meeting into small groups that examine individual Club activities and then report to the whole group.  A group discussion where anyone can add to the findings of the individual groups will follow.  It may sound a little wonky, but I used to set up brainstorming sessions for various groups in another life, and this works.

The President’s Pick at the Master Gardeners Demonstration Garden was a delight.  Signs of Spring were everywhere, and Brenda Lasorsa and Keith Dekker are so knowledgeable.  April 18th we are going to the Field Arts and Events Hall to see one of the jewels of the emerging Port Angeles Waterfront.  As an added bonus, our own Judy Larimore, who is a wonderful photographer, is exhibiting her work there in the month of April.  There are still a few places available.
